Noting that a picture is allegedly worth a thousand words, Suzie Betz, second-year UofMN student simply pasted in half an image.
“My dial-up connection usually cuts off half the pixels anyway” said Betz, “so it was a win-win idea for me.”
Intro To Architecture Professor, Aaron Maslow, was awed by the student’s unfinished portrait of George Washington, originally produced by Gilbert Stuart in 1796.
“It’s amazing how much we can learn about Victorian Column design by examining the work of a prior century.” Maslow continued, “Jessica’s application of Instagram filters to the portrait made it all the more readable.”
