After Translation Error, Mexico Pays $70 Billion For Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”

August 28, 2017 – Following a tense week of communications with US President Trump, Mexico President Enrique Peña Nieto has accepted Trump’s request for Mexico to pay for The Wall.

On Monday, August 28, Mexico purchased Pink Floyd’s Album “The Wall” for $67.8 billion.

At the press conference, the Mexico president said, “In order to build a stronger bond with the United States, we have complied with President Trump’s request of purchasing this progressive rock LP. I do not know why we did not do this sooner, as this is a very, very good album.”

President Peña Nieto was unable to be reached for comment as, at the recommendation of his translator, was attempting to listen to The Wall while watching Alice in Wonderland in reverse
